As usual life has been very chaotic and the blog gets pushed to the side. I hope that things are slowing (ha!) so I can update more regularly. Since our anniversary celebration we have had busy weekends of Kappa Founder's day celebrations, Utah football, Halloween, Kappa travel, and Thanksgiving.
In October I was able to celebrate Kappa's 142 Founders Day with two of my alumnae associations that I belong to. One of them we went to the Grand America for tea and the other we went to Salt Lake Country Club. I had a good time catching up with good friends and hearing about some amazing Kappas have done.

November brought going to Wyoming to visit the Kappa Chapter at U. of Wyoming. It was a great weekend where I was able to meet many of the chapter women and help out with initiation. Such a great thing to have the opportunity to do! The drive for the weekend brought a huge snowstorm in Salt Lake that went along part of the Wyoming drive but overall it wasn't as bad as it could have been. On the way home by Echo Reservoir it was beautiful and I got this photo. Such a beautiful thing snow is (when you don't have to be out in it).
Halloween is always a good time and trying to decide what to wear for the day is always a long process. This year I thought hard about it and I was able to get a nice box from Scott's birthday gift to make my costume. What do you think?

Thanksgiving was celebrated at the Barn with Mom, Dad, Gram, Scott, Captain, and Charles. It was a good weekend of relaxing once we got the new hot tub running, and putting up christmas decorations. We spent one day going to West Yellowstone, seeing the builders new home (massive!), and getting the last of the Barn put together. Below are some photos of the weekend:
